
Iomega has introduced an upgrade to its eGo line of portable hard drives with a model that has a maximum capacity of 250GB and dual USB 2.0/FireWire 400 interfaces allowing you to be connected to a lots of systems. The 250GB model will be sold for $229.95 and the 160 GB version is priced at $159.95.The strictly USB models coming in the 160GB and 250GB models go for $139.99 and $209.95 .

Here is a portable media player named BM532 by Chinese company Shenzhen Bmorn. It boasts 2.0-in 260K color TFT screen and runs on an Action CTW500 chipset and can be used to play AMV videos and view GIF and JPEG photos. It features an FM player, e-book reader, USB 2.0 high-speed interface, audio recording capability, time shut-down function. The BM532 will export to countries outside China. Release dates and pricing is still unknown.

iRiver has developed the new Spinn PMP. It plays music, video, it displays photo and comes with a 3.2-inch TFT-LCD Screen, Bluetooth 2.0, FM Tuner, recording capability, DMB, Flash 2.0, a Text Viewer, and an e-Dictionary. The Spinn will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions. However, there is no word on when it will release or how much it will be.

Iotek has unveiled a new product called the Data Locker portable external hard drive. One unique feature is its touchpad. The touchpad is used to enter the password and also features USB connectivity without using external power. No word on release date or prices right now.

Canon comes out with great products and the DW-100 portable DVD burner is no exception. It comes with a feature to burn videos from Canon camcorders not only in standard DVD format but in AVCHD DVD format too. In other words, it’s compatible with Canon camcorders. This baby should arrive late April for $269. It looks good inside and out, you can’t go wrong.
