HP Photosmart C8180 Printer

HP Japan will release its latest C8180 All in One Printer later this month. This all-in-one Printer adopts 3.5 inch liquid crystal touch screen display. Measuring 448mm × 392mm × 216mm and weighing at 11.4kg, the printer also sports USB 2.0, IEEE 802.11b/g, Ethernet and Bluetooth. HP Photosmart C8180 comes bundled with Smart for Windows Web Printing Software. Its scanner feature allows users to scan documents/ pictures at 9,600dpi. HP C8180 will be available for $6400(after conversion).

The Epson PX-G5300 printer is the latest model launched by Epson. Scheduled to be sold by the end of 2007, the PX-G5300 comes loaded with PX-G ink having all 8 colors. The printer has resistance ozone characteristic and can deliver smooth beige beautifully. It works with LCCS (Logical Color Conversion System) technology and can fulfill all kinds of printing demands. Its data table ensures that ink is not wasted, as it expresses which ink and in how much quantity needs to be used for a printing process. This new printer also comes fitted with MSDT that controls the minute ink at 3 size delivering fine photographs. Epson’s PX-G5300 printer will be arrived in the market by the end of the year.

Samsung has unveiled its slim mono laser printer the ML-1631K(Swan) and its mono laser MFP SCX-4501K(Logan) during IFA 2007. Based on the concept of “Slim, Sleek and Silent”, the ML-1631K and the SCX-4501K are designed as high-end printer matching with modern office environment. Both gadgets will be released in early September in the Korea market.

Epson Releases Three New All-in-ones Printers

Epson today announced three new all-in-ones printers that enhance productivity and convenience for the small office and home office environments. In addition, the Stylus CX8400 is equipped with a 2.5-inch LCD, and prints at 32 ppm in both black and color. Both printers are able to print pictures directly from memory card or camera, so you won’t need the PC to print your favorite photos. The Epson Stylus CX7400, CX8400 and CX9400Fax are priced at $70, $100, and $150 respectively.

Zink, the Zero-Ink Digital Polaroid

Polaroids were cool, but when the digital era wipes the market with cheaper, more efficient products it seems like a waste to use Polaroids anymore. Enter Zink, the zero-ink digital camera / printer combo which uses dye crystals and polymer overcoat papers to produce pictures instantly just the way Polaroids did in the old days. The difference is that Zink lets you choose which pictures you want to print. Shipping in late 2007, Zink has released some specs — 7mpx CCD, 2″ display and SD memory slot — which are not all that IMHO but it’s interesting nonetheless to see how this big clunk works.

Samsung SCX-1650 Printer

Samsung introduced a new color printer that allows you to take printouts without connecting it to a PC. You can store scanned images in USB flash disk and print them. The SCX-1650 prints black & white page at 30ppm and color page at 24ppm at 4800×1200 dpi resolution. The device also sports ID card copying button, Bluetooth, PictBridge and SmarThruTM program which enables you to send scanned images via e-mail without the need of a computer. The Samsung SCX-1650 costs about $140 in the Korean market.
