
Printbrush is claimed to be the world’s smallest pocket-sized printer that uses Bluetooth to connect with a laptop and print an A4 paper at 600 dpi (monochrome). This ultra-portable printer adopts PrintDreams’ propietary RMPT Full technology that allows it to print documents at a maximum speed of 250mm/sec. Epson has recently introduced the portable Epson PictureMate Charm photo printer that is perfect for photographers who want to have and send out copies of their captured photos. This printer is able to print superior 4-inch x 6-inch photos with true-to-life skin tones, amazing detail and sharpness in as fast as 37 seconds. Priced at $149.99, the Epson PictureMate Charm features a 2.5-inch LCD, a multicard reader, optional Bluetooth support (via a separate adapter) and room for either 150 glossy sheets or 100 matte sheets of 4-inch x 6-inch paper. iMo has launched an 8-inch (800 x 600) digital photo frame and printer combo gadget, which is known as the iMo Foto Frame Printer. The gadget has a USB input, a slideshow function, an onscreen manual, a remote control, and accepts CF/SD/MS/MMC and xD memory cards. The printer is able to print 6 x 4 glossy picture at 300dpi. The ESP 3250 and ESP 5250 is Kodak’s latest addition to the all-in-one printer market. Both models adopt Kodak’s Kodacolor technology, which is a revolutionary technology that combines a high nozzle density printhead and pigmented inks with precision dual drop placement. Available in pink, red, and black, the Polaroid CZA10011 supports a wireless Bluetooth hard drive and USB interface. Casio will release two photo printers on September 11th, 2009. Known as the PCP-1300 and PCP-300, the former features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display with 480 x 234 resolution and is compatible with most of the memory cards and picture cards. Meanwhile, the latter has a 3.5-inch display with 240 x 320 resolution. Both printers feature a QWERTY keyboard. The Casio PCP-1300 and PCP-300 retails for $577 and $420, respectively. More

Canon today announced that they will release three new photo printers later this month in the form of the PIXMA MP560, PIXMA MP490, and SELPHY CP790. The PIXMA MP560 is an all-in-one inkjet printer that features duplex printing, photo correction, and Wi-Fi connectivity. This printer has a USB port that allows direct printing. Meanwhile, the low-end PIXMA MP490 provides a slower print rate and a 1.8-inch LCD display. And finally, the SELPHY CP790 boasts a face detection capability and a host of customization tools. HP’s Photosmart Premium with Touchsmart Web is a web-connected printer that has a 4-inch widescreen display on the front. The printer connected to the web via Wi-Fi connectivity. It will come preloaded with links to web services like Snapfish, Fandango or Google. No word on pricing or availability so far. [HP]

Recordex has created a series of efficient and low cost CD/DVD inkjet printers. Known as the Studiojet 50 and 100, these CD printers feature disc labeling software and uses standard HP ink cartridges to bring down the CD printing cost by around $40 per set of ink cartridge. Sony offers two new lightweight photo printers that will make it easy for those who want to print photos anywhere and anytime. The $120 DPP-FP67 and $200 DPP-FP97 are able to create 4 x 6 prints in 45 and 67 seconds, respectively. Both printers support a variety of cards including SD, SDHC, MMC, xD and Memory Stick. The printer can also be connected to any of Sony’s digital S-Frame models via a USB connection.
