The IN83 features a DarkChip4 DLP chip, 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,600 ANSI lumens, HDMI 1.3, Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing and 2.35:1 Cinemascope / widescreen aspect ratio support. Dell is an American technology-company based in Round Rock, Texas. The company has confirmed the availability of the M209X ultra portable projector. Weighing at just 2.6 lbs, the M209X is the successor to the ultraportable 3400MP. It sports 2000 ANSI lumens and will be able to display vivid images with the new BrilliantColor technology. NEC will be released the new NP3151W widescreen installation projector that boasts 4,000-lumen brightness LCD projector, a maximum of 1,280 x 800 WXGA resolution, and connectivity to wireless networks. Weighing at 16.1 pounds, the projector will be available later this month for $4,999. [Digitimes]

Epson’s newest projector is going to be spending too much time in business rooms and not enough time showing movies or playing games, which is why it’s called the business projector. The Epson EMP-1825 has an XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, 3,500 ANSI lumens, a USB 2.0 port and a compactflash slot and the more important wireless capabilities which enable it to beam out presentations without being stuck with wires on a PC. If multimedia projectors are what you’re looking for, then Epson has dropped two more 3LCD projectors to the PowerLite series that feature an XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, a built-in Ethernet port for remote monitoring and control, an integrated ten-watt speaker and a closed-caption decoder. Samsung has released a tiny little projector called the M310. Samsung’s M310 is known as an Ultra Mobile Pocket Imager/DLP device featuring a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 150 ANSI lumens, VGA input, SVGA native resolution. No word on pricing or availability at this time. [Link]

The Cineversum BlackWing projectors look like something out of a Star Wars movie which makes them a little more interesting than the average projector. Each model features a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,920 x 1,080 full HD resolution, two HDMI 1.3 inputs, color-select filters for wider color reproduction and a motorized zoom / focus. The Pro Model will feature everything mentioned along with an optional SD-SDI input and 12V triggers board, professional color management tools and VGA compatibility. Samsung will drop a hot little projector called the MBP-100. The MBP-100 mini projector features a 20-inch display from cellphones or portable media players of all kinds. No word on pricing, but it’s expected to hit South Korea in March.

Explay has released a nano projector that is small enough to fit in a pocket but projects an image that is 20 times their size. The secret to this amazing bit-sized projector is the use of tiny light sources such as lasers and LED lights. No word on pricing or availability as of yet, but I’m pretty sure it wont be cheap.

Acer will release a new HD projector called the H5350. The H5350 features a 1280 x 720 image at 2000 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 28 dB noise level. It accepts inputs up to 1920 x 1080 in resolution from its HDMI input and has a 4000 hour lamp life. No word on price or exact release date yet.
