
BenQ is back with its latest short-throw projectors namely the LX 60ST and LW61ST. Designed for the education marketplace, both projectors adopt the company’s mercury-free blue BlueCore light engine to deliver superb energy efficiency. The BenQ LX 60ST and LW61ST also provide a 2000 ANSI lumen brightness, a XGA/WXGA resolution, two built-in 10 Watts speakers, a microphone input, a 360-degree tilted projection and a 0.6/0.49 short-throw projection. Epson today introduced five new members from its PowerLite Pro Z-series projectors, the Z8450WUNL, Z8455WUNL, Z8350WNL, Z8250NL and Z8255NL. The Epson PowerLite Pro Z-series projector line is designed for corporate, higher education, house of worship, rental and staging, museum, and digital signage applications. The Z8450WUNL and Z8455WUNL produce a WUXGA 1920×1200 resolution with a 7000 lumens of brightness. The Z8350WNL features a WXGA 1280×768 resolution with a 8500 lumens brightness. And finally, the Z8250NL and Z8255NL offer a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution with a 10,000 lumens of brightness. The Epson PowerLite Pro Z8450WUINL and Z8455WUNL will be released in February 2012, while the PowerLite Pro Z8250NL and Z8255NL will be available in April 2012. Sanwa is back with its latest product in the form of the 400-PRJ011 micro projector. Designed for Apple’s iPhone 4/ 4S, the DLP micro projector is able to project up to 65-inch in size with a 640 × 360 pixel resolution and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The Sanwa 400-PRJ011 has a 2,100mAh battery that provides up to 2.5-hour of operation time. This battery also gives more juice to your iPhone. Designers Hwang Jungjoon and Lee Jaeryong have created the Proinjector, which is a combination of a microwave oven and a projector. This gadget enables users to see what’s going on inside your microwave from across the room. The unique design of Proinjector allows users to view their cooking food from a safer distance. BenQ has unveiled the W7000 3D home cinema projector. It is known as the first projector in the world to be accredited with the TUV Rheinland 3D Full HD certification. The projector uses DLP Link to provide crosstalk free 1080p Full HD 3D images to both eyes with a high contrast ratio of 50000:1 and a maximum brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens. What’s more, this 3D home theater projector also provides several connectivity options including a pair of HDMI 1.4a port, a D-Sub connector, component video, S-Video and an integrated RS232 port. BenQ is back with its new portable projector namely the Joybee GP2. Weighing at only 565 grams, the projector is able to project a 160-inch cinematic display with a 100 ANSI lumen brightness. The BenQ Joybee GP2 also features an all-in-one iPhone/iPod-compatible dock, two 2W stereo speakers, a USB port, a mini HDMI input and a 2GB of onboard memory storage. LG Electronics has introduced its new 3D projector in the Korean market. Known as the LG CF3DAT, the CINEMA 3D projector can project a huge 200-inch viewing surface with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a brightness level of 1,250 ANSI lumens in 3D mode. The LG CF3DAT also adopts the Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) display technology, allowing users to use the lightweight LG polarized 3D glasses. Dell is back with its latest product in the form of the M110 ultra mobile projector. Weighing at a mere 0.8 lbs, the projector features VGA, HDMI and USB inputs, a 1GB internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and a built-in 1W speaker. The Dell M110 uses a LED lamp that provides up to 20,000-hour of service time. ViewSonic Corp. has recently introduced the PJD6 Series DLP projector that consists of the PJD6253, PJD6223 and PJD6553w. Designed for both classroom and corporate environments, these projectors adopt ViewSonic’s Smart ECO technology, which provides an automatic energy savings of up to 70%, a silent operation and a longer lamp life of up to 6,000-hour. The ViewSonic PJD6253, PJD6223 and PJD6553w also support the Crestron RoomView network management software, allowing centralized control for up to 250 projectors. The ViewSonic PJD6 Series DLP projector provides several connectivity options including HDMI and multiple PC and video inputs.
