Ricoh Releases New Portable Digital Projectors For Business People

Ricoh has decided to enter the portable projector market by releasing the new Ricoh PJ Series. Designed for business people on-the-go, the Ricoh PJ Series consists of five models including the PJ X3131, PJ X3241, PJ X3241N, PJ WX3131 and PJ WX3231N. These projectors offer a minimum brightness rating of at least 2,500 lumens, 3LCD color clarity and a built-in speaker. The PJ X3131, PJ X3241 and PJ X3241N models offer an XGA resolution, while the PJ WX3131 and PJ WX3231N models support a WXGA resolution. The Ricoh PJ X3241N and PJ WX3231N provide advanced networking capabilities for shared use and remote management. ViewSonic is back with two new ultra-portable LED projectors, the PLED-W200 and PLED-W500. Designed for business travelers or on-the-road presenters, both projectors provide a 20,000 hour-long lamp life, a WXGA widescreen resolution for 720p HD viewing, a 3D-ready with 120Hz frame rates, USB 2.0 ports, and an SD card slot to display documents, PDFs, videos, photos and other multimedia files without a computer. What’s more, the ViewSonic PLED-W500 is a higher-end model that comes equipped with an HDMI 1.3 port and a 1GB of storage space, so you can save your PowerPoint files. Known as the Sony VPL-VW95ES, this projector is actually a successor to the VPL-VW90ES, which was announced last September. Based on the new dynamic lamp control technology, the new Sony VPL-VW95ES brings 3D film to life with vivid, crisp, bright and vibrant imagery that will satisfy the greatest film enthusiast’s desires. This projector is equipped with Sony’s Advanced Iris 3 technology which includes a contrast enhancer to maximize the dynamic contrast ratio when used with the iris, giving viewers a crisper and brighter final image.
