Assassin’s Creed from Ubisoft will be launched worldwide on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC this November. There will be two versions of the game: a regular edition for $59.99 and a special edition for $69.99.
Set in 1191 AD at the height of the Third Crusade for the Holy Land, Assassin’s Creed puts players in the silent shoes of Altair and gives them the opportunity “to shape events during this pivotal moment in history.” Altair is tied to a group of ruthless assassins whose plan is to bring an end to the bitter struggle by striking out at both warring parties.
Rockstar will release new Midnight Club series. According to Eurogamer, a fourth edition of this game is headed to the Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early in 2008. Dubbed as the Midnight Club: Los Angeles, the game is being developed by Rockstar’s San Diego and will “redefine the idea of a completely immersive racing game experience, both offline and online.†Stay tuned for more updates!

Electronic Arts will release a new game based on the Simpson family. In this game, the Simpson’s: Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa use all-new powers to save the world from rising chaos. The game will be featured the voices of the TV actors and is being produced in conjunction with Gracie Films and Twentieth Century Fox. Electronic Arts’ The Simpson’s Game will release in Fall this year and will available for Sony Playstation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

In its financial results conference call, Take 2 interactive has confirmed that the Grand Theft Auto IV will be released in October 2007. The game will be available for the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. Take Two also announced that Rockstar will introduce in 2008 exclusive episodic content downloads for the game.
