
The UMEMD (first release for the 1000 series) was created by former XBox hackers Team Xecuter and is actually designed to conveniently hold up to 4 Memory Sticks and be stored either in a UMD case, or in the PSP itself. As the market for PSP’s demands users to have multiple memory sticks storing their games or movies this simple yet effective product is the answer to that problem. Looks like Japan will be receiving a new mint green color PSP. Unfortunately there’s no word on wheter it will release in the U.S or other countries for that matter. So your best bet is to stop by the art store for some spray paint or better yet acrylics.

Sony PSP lovers will be happy to know that Square Enix will release the Special Edition Star Ocean PSP on December 27, 2007. Sony will release its new Sony PSP Slim battery pack (PSP-S110) on September 20th for $39. This new pack is designed specifically for the new Slim Sony PSP (PSP-2000) and not the current model (PSP-1000).

The 1Seg Tuner for Sony PSP will be released on September 20th, 2007 at the recommended retail price of $57. The device will be compatible exclusively with the new PSP-2000 redesign, so current PSP owners are out of luck.

According to Reuters, Sony will launch its trimmed down PSP on September 20th in the Japanese market with the price tag of $162. In case you didn’t know, the new Sony PSP is lighter, slimmer, features improved battery life, and faster loading times. The gadget also can be plugged into a TV for big-screen play, about F-ing time!

Not much info is available on the PSP-S310 Digital TV tuner except that the device will be available when the Sony PSP Slim goes on sale in September 20th 2007. Priced at $58, the unit comes with an extendable antenna and is the same size as the Sony PSP camera unit. Unfortunately, the gadget will work only in Japan, because it is the only place where you can get One-Seg terrestrial digital broadcasts.
