Everyone is getting excited over the new 100GB and 128GB Bluray discs that were just recently announced. The only problem is that they will not be compatible with the current Bluray players and recorders that are currently on the market. Since Sharp is putting out the discs, it only makes sense that they will follow up with the machines that can use them. They have announced two new Bluray recorders that will be fully compatible with the new BDXL format and will support 3D Blurays as well. [AVWatch]

Canon today released the FS-CF and FS-CF Pro portable Compact Flash DTE recorders that are specially made for use with Canon’s HDVi camcorders and mini-DVi camcorders. These gadgets allows you to record your HD videos to Type-1 Compact Flash (CF) solid-state media. Once the video footage has been recorded, you can either connect the FS-CF recorders into your Mac or PC via a USB 2.0 port or directly insert the CF card into a card reader. The Canon FS-CF and FS-CF Pro portable Compact Flash DTE recorders will be available in late April 2010 for $995 and $1,295, respectively. [Akihabara]

The gadget provides an 8GB of storage space, and an intuitive interface enabling you to index and edit files within the recorder. The LS-11 can record in 24 bit / 96 kHz Linear PCM format, which is also great for capturing bird sounds, creating podcasts and broadcasts, and making audio recordings to accompany photographs. Mitsubishi Electric has dropped two New Blu-Ray recorders called the DVR-BZ200 with 500GB of internal HDD and the DVR-BZ100 with 250GB of internal HDD. They both support AVC codec and AVCREC so you can record AVC to DVD. Along with a digital and analog TV tuners as well as HDMI and Tivo support, and lastly the touch-screen color LCD remote control.
