
Toshiba will introduce the REGZA 55X3 at the CEATEC Japan 2011. The REGZA 55X3 is a 55-inch naked-eye 3D LCD TV that provides a superb 3,840×2,160 pixels or four times HD resolution. This 3D LCD TV also offers the REGZA Engine CEVO Duo processor, a 5,000:1 of contrast ratio, a LED backlight, a face-tracking function, REGZA LINK, five digital tuners, 10W×2ch+10W speakers, four HDMI ports and two USB 2.0 ports. Unfortunately, the REGZA 55X3 only produces 1,280×720 pixels resolution in 3D mode. The company will release the REGZA 55X3 in Japan during Xmas 2011 for $11,730. [TechCrunch]

The Toshiba REGZA 19P2 TV comes with a removable battery, which provides enough juice for up to 5-hour. The 19-inch TV features a 1Seg digital TV tuner, a LED backlight panel, an HDMI port, a 1366 x 768 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a “Peak Shift” button on the remote control, which allows you to switch the TV from AC mode to battery mode. The Toshiba REGZA 19P2 TV will be available this summer in Japan for 50,000 Yen ($617). The company also sells the additional battery for 7,000 Yen ($86) each. Read more

Toshiba has unveiled its first cell-powered LCD TV ‘Cell Regza 55X1′ for the Japanese market. This new 55-inch widescreen TV uses the same Cell Technology as found in the Sony PS3 for delivering outstanding picture quality. It also offers a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 240Hz scanning, 1,250 cd/m2 brightness, 5,000,000 contrast ratio, an internet browser made by Opera Software, DLNA support, a 7-speaker sound bar, an SD card slot, HDMI and USB ports and a tuner box that includes a 3TB of storage space, with 2TB of that is dedicated to time-shift recording (recording up to 26 hours of programs for up to eight channels).
