Ricoh Releases New Portable Digital Projectors For Business People

Ricoh has decided to enter the portable projector market by releasing the new Ricoh PJ Series. Designed for business people on-the-go, the Ricoh PJ Series consists of five models including the PJ X3131, PJ X3241, PJ X3241N, PJ WX3131 and PJ WX3231N. These projectors offer a minimum brightness rating of at least 2,500 lumens, 3LCD color clarity and a built-in speaker. The PJ X3131, PJ X3241 and PJ X3241N models offer an XGA resolution, while the PJ WX3131 and PJ WX3231N models support a WXGA resolution. The Ricoh PJ X3241N and PJ WX3231N provide advanced networking capabilities for shared use and remote management. Both models also have a USB port that lets you deliver presentations without a computer. The Ricoh PJ Series is priced at between $800 to $1,200, depending on the model. [Press Release]

Ricoh eQuill ePaper Business Tablet Unveiled

The Ricoh eQill is an enterprise tablet which is designed to fit into a paperless office. Measuring 7.4-inch x 9.7-inch x 0.4-inch and weighing about 1.1 pounds, the tablet features a 9.7-inch (1280 x 825) e-Ink display, an 8GB of storage capacity, up to 20 hours of battery life, a TI OMAP 3621 processor, a 256MB of RAM, a stylus for text input, a 5MP digital camera, and a voice recorder. Stussy x Ricoh GRDIII 30th Anniversary Digital Camera

Stussy has collaborated with Ricoh to release the Stussy-branded digital camera in order to celebrate Stussy’s 30th birthday. Based on the Ricoh GR DIGITAL III, this camera provides a 10MP 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor, a 28 mm/F1.9 “GR” lens, a 4x digital zoom, ISO sensitivity between 64 and 1,600, a 3-inch LCD display and SD/SDHC/ USB ports. Ricoh has replaced the original fonts on the camera with Stussy style fonts and added royal blue as a new color on several buttons and the cap. Ricoh will be dropping a rough and tough digital camera this May called the G600 Point-and-Shoot. The G600 Point and Shoot 10-megapiel camera features a 2.7-inch LCD, 28-140mm wide-zoom lens, 5x optical zoom, USB connectivity, ISO 3200 capability and a shock-resistant feature that also repels dust and water. Ricoh has dropped two new digital cameras called the aluminum R8 and R50. The R8 comes with a 10 megapixel camera, 1/2.3-inch CCD covered with a 7.1x optical zoom lens, the back has a 2.7-inch LCD with CCD-shift image stabilization and smooth imaging engine III processing on the inside. Both should drop in Japan in March for about $460 and $280 for the R50 featuring a 10 megapixel sensor, processing engine, and stabilization with a 5X optical zoom. Ricoh Caplio R7 8.1MP Digicam With 7.1x Wide Zoom

The Ricoh R7 digital camera features 8.1MP sensor with the 7.1x wide zoom lens and a Smooth Engine III image processing which should help quiet the noise at higher ISOs. Available in silver, black, and orange, the digicam will be available next month for around $465 in the UK.

The Ricoh Caplio GX100 Digital Camera

Ricoh will launch its new digicam very soon. Dubbed as the Caplio GX100, the camera provides high picture quality because it features the high-speed F2.5 aperture and high-performance 24 to 72 mm wide zoom lens (35mm film equivalent). The gadget also features a 10.01 megapixel CCD, “Smooth Imaging Engine II”, and a 2.5 LCD with a 170-degree viewing angle. The attachable electronic viewfinder is very useful on a sunny day and provides 100% image coverage with synchronized focal length and no parallax error. The Caplio GX100 sports SDHC cards and uses AAA batteries when you run out of charge.
