Still waiting for Apple’s next Macbook coming Tuesday? Well get this, Jason Calacanis, in an interview with CNET UK claims that a little birdie told him that Apple is working on a networked LCD HDTV with built-in Apple TV. Why Apple would jump into the HDTV market is strangely mysterious, but what’s interesting is the promise of an HDTV natively capable of streaming music and videos from your network. Still, a very stimulating rumor and another expensive gadget to add to your to-buy list. [MacBlogz]
Apparently Nintendo is about to announce their next-gen Nintendo DS console. According to MCV’s sources in Japan, Satoru Iwata will make a press release at 9pm PST tomorrow. Not sure what time that is in Japan but this is exciting news. We learned very little details about the new console except that it will sport MP3 playing and some camera functions. [Gizmodo via the Video Games Blog]
There’s a rumor going around that there will supposedly be a Nokia phone called the N97 on the market. According to rumors, the N97 will feature a 3-inch display, 5.0-megapixel camera with 20x digital zoom, miniSD slot and 20GB of internal memory. According to Evan Wilson of Pacific Crest Securities, there’s a rumor that there will be a Wii 2 and Xbox number 3 coming out in 2010. It also said that the Xbox might be ahead of it’s competition and might launch sooner. Wilson also predicts a new Nintendo DS and PSP in 2010. We’ll keep you updated on both of these as time passes.

According to T3, Sony will be releasing a slim PS3 in quarter 3 or 4. There’s no listed specs or prices yet, but here are some pics of the supposed slim PS3. More detailed pics after the jump.
