According to rumors, the new LG Prada II will have a QWERTY keypad. The handset is expected to launch in Q4 2008. Think MacBook screen, possibly a bit smaller, in glass with iPhone-like, but fuller-featured Multi-Touch. Gesture library. Full Mac OS X. This is why they bought P.A. Semi. Possibly with Immersion’s haptic tech. Slot-loading SuperDrive. Accelerometer. GPS. Pretty expensive to produce initially, but sold at “low” price that will reduce margins. Apple wants to move these babies. And move they will. This is some sick shit. App Store-compatible, able to run Mac apps, too. By October at the latest.

If you followed our advice and decided to wait before you let Apple take away your hard earned 600 bucks, a cheaper, friendlier alternative might be just around the corner. Introducing iPhone nano, a super-shrink version of the iPhone based on the iPod nano. This gadget is rumored to launch at around Q4 this year. According to Kevin Chang, a JP Morgan analyst based in Taiwan, the report cited anonymous sources “in the supply channel”. There’s also some anticipation with a reference that suggests such a device could be materializing. Yippee-kay-yay!!
