Runco is proud to introduce their latest 3D projector, the LS-12d. Adopting the DLP display technology, this 3D projector provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 2100 ANSI lumens brightness, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). The LS-12d will hit the market from April with an MSRP of $27,995 and will come bundled with Runco’s new Dimension Digital Controller (DC-300) and three sets of active shutter glasses. [Runco]
Planar Systems has introduced a new 42-inch flat panel LCD display which is designed for outdoor enjoyment. Known as the Runco WP-42HD, the screen features “glass with special element-proof bonding” a sealed custom aluminum cabinet and an internal ventilation system to provide cooling. This LCD TV also offers “protection from adverse environmental conditions including temperature, exposure to moisture, dust, oils and intermittent direct water spray.” The Runco WP-42HD offers 1366 x 768 resolution and special internal video processing chip. Other features include 1080i support, a 178-degree viewing angle, and DVI with HDCP and computer/RGB inputs. This television will be available in November for around $8,995.
