
RunCore has just unveiled a new line of SSDs, the Pro-V MAX. Coming in capacities ranging from 60GB to 480GB, these 2.5-inch SSDs are equipped with a SandForce SF-2281 controller, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, TRIM supoport, DuraClass and DuraWrite technologies support and capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 520MB/s, respectively. RunCore has released the MoonDrive USB 3.0 flash drive. The device adopts an SLC Flash NAND as the storage media, which enables the drive to reach sequential read and write transfer speeds of 164MB/s and 150MB/s. The RunCore Pro IV USB 3.0 ExpressCard SSD is actually a combination of a solid state drive and a USB 3.0 hub. The drive connects to both ExpressCard/34 slot and USB 3.0 port. As an SSD, it provides 64GB of responsive storage for laptops, with transfer rates of 110 MB/s read and 80MB/s write. When connected as ExpressCard, it offers a couple of USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, the drive can be used as a standalone external SSD as well. RunCore has launched a new SATA SSD that uses a 3.5-inch form factor. Designed for desktop PCs, the new SSD provides a massive 1TB of storage capacity and uses the SATA III 6GB port for connectivity. The SSD promises performance of over 500MB/s of data transfer rate. The large number of flash chips inside the SSD are divided in two groups, so you can switch the SSD to RAID support for data mirroring. Hong Kong based RunCore has announced a new line-up of solid state drives, the Pro IV 2.5-inch SATA SSD.
