Upcoming Samsung Beat R1 PMP

Samsung has finally unveiled more details about the Beat R1 media player. Measuring 8.9mm thick and weighing at just 50 grams, the R1 boasts a 2.6-inch LCD touchscreen, an FM tuner, and bluetooth. Its battery provides up to 50-hour audio playback or up to 4-hour of video playback. Available in pink, black, and silver, the Samsung Beat R1 supports DivX video files and Samsung’s fantastic Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe) 3.0 sound enhancement technology. Samsung E6 e-Book Reader Available Stateside

Samsung has finally launched the E6 eReader for the US market. Priced at $299 each, the gadget comes equipped with a 6-inch e-ink display at 600 x 800 resolution with 8-Gray scale for easy readability, integrated front speakers, Samsung’s text-to-speech (TTS) technology, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0. The Samsung E6 also provides a 2GB of internal memory that is upgradable via a microSD memory card slot (up to 16GB). This e-book reader supports E-pub, PDF/a, TXT, BMP and JPG files. Samsung will launch the Samsung HMX-H205 HD camcorder that is perfect for use in a low light environment thanks to the fast Backside Illumination (BSI) CMOS sensor. The camcorder features a 2.7-inch touchscreen display, a 32GB of solid state storage that is upgradable via an SDHC card slot, a 20x optical zoom and an HDMI port, so you can playback your film on your HDTV. The HMX-H205 also supports H.264 video in 1080i at 60 frames per second. The Samsung HMX-H205 will be released in June 2010. Pricing info is still unavailable, so stay tuned. Samsung has announced their latest 22-inch multitouch LCD monitor ‘LD220Z’ for the Russian market. This new widescreen monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 5ms response time. It also comes with two 1.5W built-in speakers and has both D-Sub and HDMI connectors. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Samsung]

Samsung's Refrigerator With Wi-Fi Connectivity

Samsung has recently unveiled the new Zipel e-diary refrigerator for the South Korean market. It features a 10-inch touchscreen display, WiFi and is compatible with DLNA devices. Its touchscreen display can be used to show current weather conditions, more than 500 different kinds of food with their nutritional content and news from the internet. Available in cream white pattern, the Zipel e-diary retails for $2170. Samsung also announced a luxurious refrigerator that is designed by Italian jewelry designer, Massimo Zucchi. Samsung comes back to the prosumer camera market by launching the Samsung TL500 (also known as the EX1) that adopts several DSLR-level features. As a competitor to Panasonic DMC-LX3, this 10-megapixel compact camera comes with a large 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor, a bright f/1.8 lens, a 3x optical lens with a focal range of 24-72mm, a 3-inch swiveling AMOLED LCD screen, pop-up flash and external flash hotshoe, RAW shooting mode, and full manual control over exposure. You are lucky if you are living in South Korea, because Samsung will launch its SNE-60K e-reader in that country. In case you didn’t know, the SNE-60K boasts a 6-inch touchscreen display that supports handwriting recognition, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, and an MP3 file support. Samsung will launch the special edition of S2 external hard drive that comes pre-loaded with Michael Jackson’s “THIS IS IT” movie. Samsung SP-F10M

Samsung has showcased two new projectors at ISE 2010. Weighing at only 200 grams, the Samsung H03 is capable to run for about 2 hours on a single charge. This pico projector is LED-based that has a brightness of 30 ANSI lumens and a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours. Additionally, the H03 also supports various connectivity options like USB/PC/Composite, and a microSD slot.

On the other hand, the Samsung SP-F10M is touted to be the industry’s first LED-based data projector with 1000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, which means it could last for about 20 years with four hours of daily usage. The Samsung EcoGreen F3EG is a successor to the F2EG. The new model provides a larger 2TB capacity made up of four 500GB platters. The drive has enough storage capacity for 500,000 MP3 songs or 880 hours of DVD video. Samsung uses the 3Gbps SATA interface and the EcoTriangle technology providing low-power consumption, low-noise, and eco-friendly design.
