
Samsung’s famous MBP200 Pico Projector has been released in Germany for 375 Euros or around $521. As a reminder, the MBP200 sports a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Its projector panel supports HVGA resolution and can project pictures perfectly on a 50-inch screen. The device also supports a variety of multimedia file formats. [SamsungHub]

Samsung has worked together with Kraft Foods to install vending machines that are claimed to be the next generation of vending machines. These snack machines adopt a specially built 46-inch LCD panel, which functions as a giant touchscreen, bringing up a host of nutritional information on the food inside. For Kraft, the Internet-connected machines can also be used to sell additional products to hungry customers. For Samsung, the vending machine is part of a long-term strategy to boost its LCD business, which generated 14% of the firm’s 28.67 trillion Won or around $21.4 billion first-quarter revenue. Samsung has released not one but four new handsets from its mid-range phones series, which is dubbed as the Samsung S6700, C5510, M2510 and M2310. The M2310 comes with only a poor VGA camera and the M2510 features a 1.3MP camera. Both of these handsets have dedicated music controls. The Samsung C5510 is a dual band 3G handset that comes equipped with a 2MP camera with fixed focus, and a 16GB of storage capacity. Samsung Electronics has just rolled out its new 23-inch full HD TV and monitor combo for the Korean market. Dubbed as the P2370HD, the system offers a built-in HDTV tuner, a HDMI port and buil-in stereo speakers. The P2370HD comes with a suggested retail price of 526,000 KRW. More

O2 online shop has launched the Samsung i7500 Galaxy, which is claimed to be the highest-end Android device in the market today. Samsung has presented the LD220 during World IT Show 2009 in Korea. It is touted as the world’s first USB monitor for laptops. The LD220 provides a brightness level of 300cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 30,000:1 and a response speed of 5ms. Pricing or availability info are still unavailable. More
