Samsung will start to produce AMOLED cell phones. AMOLED is clearer than the LCD. The company will release it for the Far East market. There are four new models are being developed initially. For your info, LG Philips LCD, Sony and Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology are also working on AMOLED phones.

Samsung i560 is a slider smartphone with an integrated GPS receiver. The phone runs on Symbian S60 and is compatible with 3G and HSDPA (3G+) networks. Other features include a 2.4 inch LCD screen with 320×240 (QVGA) pixel resolution, a superb 3.2 MP digital camera with 16x zoom, Bluetooth 2.0, and 150 MB of internal storage. This sleek cell phone will be available this coming holiday season.

The black Samsung SGH-i620 slider adopts Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system and a QWERTY keyboard. The phone has a 2-inch 65k colors TFT screen, jog dial control pad and a 2MP shooter. In addition, the SGH-i620 sports HSDPA data connection and email push service. The SGH-i620 smartphone is available starting from September for the German market. Watch the video after the jump.

Samsung has showed off its newest camcorder at KES 2007. The VM-DX10 allows users to store footage on a three-inch DVD or on the built-in 4GB of flash memory. The camcorder also boasts a 2.7-inch touch panel, 3D Noise Reduction Filter, 26x zoom, and Hyper Image Stabilizer. Available in black or white, it will be released in the Korean market next month for $763.

Samsung has unveiled more details of the SGH-A127 entry-level mobile phone. This clamshell comes with just a VGA camera, 96 x 96 pixel resolution exterior LCD screen, and only sports dual-band GSM (850/1900MHz). Its internal LCD display offers 65k colors and a 128 x 160 pixel resolution for viewing photos. Available in black or white, the A127 weights at just 81grams and measures 86.4mm x 43.2mm x 19.3mm. Its battery offers up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 10.4 days of standby.

Samsung Electronics introduced its new generation of Blu-ray player at KES 2007. The BD-P1400 features 7.1-channel and Dolby Digital Plus and comes equipped with a HDMI 1.3 AV receiver and Samsung’s Anynet+ technology which enables you to network your home via one remote controller.

The cell phone is preloaded with a special Beyonce-styled start-up screen, and offers an access to load premium video and music including exclusive Beyonce photo gallery and videos. Its battery provides up to 6.3 hours of talk time or up to 14 hours of music playback. The B’Phone will be available in limited quantities on November 4, 2007.

That’s right! The future is here. Samsung has developed a water-powered cellphones, which will have a micro fuel cell and hydrogen generator that will be capable of powering the handset for up to 10 hours. Unfortunately, this first water-powered phones won’t hit the market until the year 2010.

Samsung has recently released three new music phones: Samsung SGH-i450, SGH-F330 and SGH-F210. The cell phones play MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, WMDRM file formats and provide external memory card port. The Samsung SGH-i450 that we mentioned yesterday is a “Dual Slider with Touch Wheel Music Navigation”. This HSDPA compatible handset is powered by Symbian S60. The phone will be available by the end of the month in Italy and soon all over Europe with the price tag of $539. The Samsung SGH-F330 Ultra Slim HSDPA Music Slider comes with a 2MP shooter, and a microSD slot. It is on sale in Germany for $400. The last one is the Samsung SGH-F210, which is also dubbed as the “Music Swivel stick”. This cell phone looks like a digital audio player and features 1GB of built-in memory.
