
Sanyo’s Xacti HD1010 boasts a full 1920 x 1080 (1080i) resolution recording, “Face Chaser” face detection technology, 300fps slow motion mode, 4.0megapixel stills, SDHC card slot, 10x optical zoom, and a 2.7-inch LCD display. The company has recently unveiled their new Xacti DMX-CA8 camcorder that provides 8MP CMOS sensor, 5x optical Zoom, face Chaser mode that does facial recognition even when underwater, compatible with JIS IPX5 and IPX8 Japanese standard, waterproof up to 1 hour underwater at 1.5m depth, and can record video files in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 at 60fps in VGA.
