
Sanyo today introduced six new video projectors for office purpose. The Sanyo LP-XU355 (3500 lumens) and the Sanyo PL-XU305 (3000 lumens) are both XGA and have WiFi b/g connectivity. Meanwhile, the Sanyo LP-XU350 (3500 lumens), Sanyo LP-UX330, and Sanyo LP-XU301 (3000 lumens) come with an XGA resolution. And the last one is the Sanyo LP-WXU330 (2500 lumens) with a WXGA resolution but doesn’t have WiFi feature. [Projectors]

Sanyo will release not one but six new Xacti dual cameras in 2009 for the South Korea market. These digicams are world’s first 1080p 60fps full HD camcorders (VPC-HD2000, VPC-FH1), two waterproof HD models (VPC-CA9, VPC-WH1), and two compact HD models (VPC-CG10, VPC-TH1). Sanyo comes back with a new 3LCD projector. Known as the PLC-XTC50L, the projector is targeted toward both educational and business markets. Weighing at around 32 pounds, the 3LCD projector adopts a dual lamp system that allows you to use it 24/7 without the risk of breaking down. Priced at a hefty $7,500 a pop, the Sanyo PLC-XTC50L features 1,024 x 768 resolution, 5,000 lumens brightness, 1,100:1 contrast ratio, up to 300″ screen size and DVI-D with HDCP input. Sanyo claims that the PLC-XF71 is the brightest projector in its category offering 10000 lumens of brightness level. Priced at a hefty $16,995, the Sanyo PLC-XF71 uses two lamps instead of one to achieve this level of brightness. Unfortunately, this projector offers only a resolution of 1024×768, which is below the HD resolution (1280×720). Here is a new product from Sanyo. The Sanyo R227 utilities the wireless WiFi or Ethernet wired connectivity to provide thousands of internet radio stations and podcasts. Sanyo will release its new HNV-M70 ALBO digital photo frame that has a 7 inch LCD display (800 x 480 resolution) with 256MB of internal memory. Available in black or green, the frame also sports Wi-Fi connectivity, IR sensor, RSS/email reader, automatic screen rotation, multi-memory card reader, and Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system. Sanyo comes back with a new WiFi-enabled R227 Tabletop Radio. The device offers standard FM reception with thousands of internet stations and podcasts. It also has stereo speakers, one-button on / off, a bundled remote, an Ethernet jack, auxiliary input for DAPs and an audio output to connect with the sound systems. Available in a black wood gloss finish, the Sanyo WiFi-enabled R227 Tabletop Radio will be exclusive available in Canada for $220. [Engadget]

Sanyo today released its LP-Z3000 projector that is specially made for home theaters. The projector adopts Dynamic Predictive Frame Interpolation Technologyand offers 65,000:1 contrast ratio, 19-decibel fan and Advanced lens shifting function. Sanyo PLV-Z700 provides 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, 1,200 ANSI lumens, and 2x zoom and lens shifting function. Sanyo has unveiled its new ultra-short throw projector ‘PLC-XL50 XGA’ in Korea. The PLC-XL50 is touted as having the world’s shortest throw distance. In point of fact, it can display an 80″ diagonal 4:3 image from a mere 3″ away from the screen. Other features include a 3LCD design with a brightness rating of 2000 lumens and XGA (1024×768) native resolution.
