Sapphire Edge HD3 Nettop

Sapphire is ready to release the Edge HD3 nettop with the AMD Brazos platform. This compact computer is powered by an AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD 6320 graphics, a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 320GB hard disk drive. The nettop also provides several connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI and VGA. The Sapphire Edge HD3 will be launched on February 1st, 2012 for $300. [PCLaunches]

Sapphire has showed off their newest ATX motherboard called the Pure Black X79N. Based on Intel X79 chipset, the board supports for Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge-E (LGA 2011) processors, and features four DDR3 memory slots (up to 32GB), one PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, one PCI-Express 3.0 x8 slot, two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots and two PCI-Express 2.0 x8 slots. In terms of connectivity ports it offers four SATA 6.0 Gbps, four SATA 3.0 Gbps, two eSATA, dual Gigabit Ethernet, six USB 3.0 and ten USB 2.0. Sapphire has introduced another graphics card to its range called the Radeon HD 6850 2GB. Based on 40nm GPU, the card is packed with 960 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 775MHz and a 2GB of GDDR5 memory set at 4000MHz. The card also comes with a single fan cooling system and features dual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Sapphire]

Here’s another newly introduced graphics card from Sapphire, the Radeon HD 6870 Dirt 3 Edition. Featuring a blue PCB, the card is packed with 1120 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 920MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM set @ 4200MHz and has a dual-slot, dual-fan cooling system. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers two DVI, HDMI 1.4 and two mini DisplayPort 1.2. The Radeon HD 6870 Dirt 3 Edition is currently available for pre-order for 208 Euro (about $285) and comes with a voucher that allows you to download Codemasters’ Dirt 3 racing game. [Sapphire]

Sapphire has added another factory-overclocked graphics card to its range with the introduction of the Radeon HD 6850 Vapor-X Edition. Featuring a 10-phase power design, this Barts-based graphics card is equipped with 960 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 800MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM set @ 4400MHz and has a dual-slot, single fan cooling system. Sapphire’s brand new ATX motherboard ‘Pure Platinum Z68′ has finally been shipped in Europe. Based on Intel Z68 chipset, the board supports for LGA1155 processors and features an 8+3 phase power design, four DDR3-1600+ memory slots and three PCI-Express x16 slots (CrossFireX is supported). In terms of connectivity, it comes with four SATA 6.0 Gbps, four SATA 3.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0, 7.1 channel audio, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. The Saphhire Edge-HD Mini PC is claimed to be the world’s smallest desktop. Based on an nVidia ION 2 platform, the Edge-HD Mini is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510 processor, a 2GB memory, a 250GB hard drive, Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, VGA, HDMI, RJ-45 Gigabit Lan, and 4x USB 2.0 Ports. The computer comes equipped with a 1GB USB drive (pre-loaded with drivers and manual), 1 x HDMI cable, and 1 x HDMI to DVI adapter. The Sapphire EDGE-HD Mini PC consumes only around 22 Watts under load, making it one of the Greenest PC solutions available. Based on 40nm Barts GPU, the card integrates 960 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 820MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM set @ 4400MHz and has a dual-slot, three-heatpipe cooling system. The card also comes with a number of connectivity ports including dual DVI, HDMI 1.4 and dual mini DisplayPort 1.2, and supports both DirectX 11 as well as CrossFireX technology.
