
Toshiba today introduced the spanking new MK2060GSC small form factor 4,200RPM SATA HDD, which is designed to be used in vehicles as part of an in-car infotainment system. Available in 200GB of storage capacity in a single-platter design, the MK2060GSC will enable car makers and aftermarket vendors to deliver an improved in-vehicle user experience, while enhancing driver safety. Century Japan has recently unveiled the COM25U3, which is a simple “screwless” enclosure for 2.5-inch SATA HDD. The device provides an extremely fast data transfer speed via a USB 3.0 port. Century Japan will launch the COM25U3 in April 2010 for the Japanese market. [Akihabara]
