Fujitsu has just dropped the new ScanSnap S300M for Mac. It converts up to 8 doubled sided pages per minute into PDF files and USB powered. It has support for Mac OS® X Leopard™ and comes with the Cardiris software for business card scanning.The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300M will be available for $295 after March 15th.

Tanita AB-101 Belly Fat Scanner: The Ultimate Scale

The Japanese really have an effective way of checking for body fat besides scales. With the Tanita AB-101 belly fat scanner by laying down on a comfortable surface and letting it check for you simply in under a minute (30 seconds). It’s powered by an AC adapter complete with a rechargable battery. The Tanita drops in Japan February 2008 for $2650, I wonder if it’s worth it, keep in mind that the cute girls doesn’t come with it, dream on guys.

Sharp MX-4500DS Printer

Sharp has recently unveiled a new digital full-color compound machine MX-4500DS printer. It is able to print pictures on A 4 glossy paper with “poster print function”. This machine can be used as a copier and a scanner. No further info on this device so far. So stay tuned for more updates.

Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 - Small Color ADF Scanner

Fujitsu has rolled out the ScanSnap S300 ultra-compact scanner. Measuring at just 11.2″ x 3.7″ x 3.0″ and weighing at 3.1lbs, this gadget is touted as the “world’s smallest” color, duplex automatic document feeder (ADF) scanner. The USB 2.0 powered scanner scans at speeds of up to 8 pages per minute for single-sided documents and 16 images per minute for double-sided documents at 600dpi optical resolution. The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 scanner will be available in November 21 for $295.

The MobileOffice D28 Pro is a new portable color scanner from Plustek that makes a great traveling companion. The scanner has the scanning speed rated at 2.2 seconds per A4 page and is capable of handling plastic cards up to 1.2mm thick. You also get customizable buttons that executes a specific task when pressed. Weighing at just 960grams, the Plustek MobileOffice D28 Pro retails for $540 (after conversion).

Pentax DSmobile 600 USB Scanner

The new Pentax DSmobile 600 scanner is a portable USB scanner that offers 600dpi color scanning. It measures just 11 inches long and 1.5 inches high and weighs only 12 ounces. The scanner comes bundled with the DSmobileSCAN software which helps in saving documents as PDF files, and PageManager 7 that allows you to edit, view, send, and save scanned documents in various formats. Too bad, there is no word on pricing and availability yet.
