Today at CES 2011, Sennheiser has recently introduced a new set of earphones to its range, which is known as the Sennheiser CXC 700. These earphones adopt the noise cancellation technology, which operates under three user-selectable modes. “Mode 1″ is designed to reduce intense low-frequency noise such as rumble from airplane engines or trains. “Mode 2″ aims at the middle of the frequency range, like the whir of air conditioning units. “Mode 3″ combines the other two modes, leaving high frequencies alone and focusing on eliminating the hums and whirs of modern life present in the lower-to-mid frequency realms. Sennheiser will release the new CXC 700 in early 2011 for a retail price of around $319.95. [PCMag]

Sennheiser and Adidas have joined together to launch two new co-branded headphones models, the Adidas Originals HD220 and CX310 headphones. Based on Sennheiser’s HD218, the Adidas Originals HD220 is a closed-back on-ear headphones that feature neodymium magnets for powerful, bass-driven stereo sound, a closed supra-aural design that blocks outside noise, and individually adjustable ear cups for a secure and comfortable fit. On the other hand, the Adidas Originals CX310 is based on Sennheiser’s CX 300 ear-canal headphones and come equipped with different sizes of ear adapters that allow for a personalized fit and reduction of ambient noise and symmetrical cable. Sennheiser 500 Series High-end Headphones

Sennheiser has announced the 500 series of high-end headphones that consists of the HD 598, HD 558 and HD 518. The Sennheiser HD 598 features a frequency response of 12 to 38,500 Hertz, and a highly constant, compressed cellulose fleece that reduces total harmonic distortion to below 0.1 per cent. The Sennheiser HD 558 features a frequency response of 15 to 28,000 Hertz. These headphones are finished in black and have “extremely soft velour ear pads that guarantee maximum wearing comfort even after hours of use”. And finally, the HD 518 adopts the E.A.R. Sennheiser has just announced three new wireless headphones that come equipped with the Kleer transmission technology to produce movie theater-quality audio via uncompressed wireless transmission. These headphones operate without compression and can be used without any audio detail loss. The Sennheiser wireless headphones allow you to move around, while watching television and enjoy cable-free music at a radius of up to 328 feet (RS 160 up to 65 feet, RS 170 up to 262 feet and RS 180 up to 328 feet). ASUS Xonar Xense Soundcard & Sennheiser PC350 Headphones

ASUS has just released their latest soundcard and it is in partnership with the audio manufacturer Sennheiser. Their thinking is that the two pieces of equipment together will create the ultimate sound system for people who require the most premium sound for gaming.
