Sharp hits back by showing off their latest 3D DLP projector ‘XV-Z30000′ at CES 2012. Specs-wise, this new projector delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1600 ANSI lumens brightness, 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 16:9 aspect ratio. Sharp Releases New 7-inch Android Tablet In Japan

Sharp will release the Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B in the Japanese market on December 9th, 2011. Measuring 195mm x 122mm x 11.9mm and weighing 396 grams, the tablet features a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, a 1GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, a 1GB of RAM, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. The Galapagos EB-A71GJ-B provides an 8GB of storage space, which is expandable via a microSD card slot. Other specs include a microHDMI port, a built-in WiMAX and the Google Android 3.2 OS. Sharp Will Launch 4K LCD TV (3,840×2,160 Resolution) In 2012

Sharp has joined with the I3 (I-cubed) research center in Kawasaki to develop a new 60-inch LCD TV that produces a superb 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution. The company will introduce the prototype of this 4K LCD TV at CEATEC 2011 Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. Sharp has also announced that the 60-inch 4K LCD TV will be released in Japan next year. Sharp Introduces The World's First 8K4K Display

Sharp has demonstrated the world’s first 8K4K display at the IFA 2011 in Berlin. This 85-inch display has a resolution of 7680 x 4320, which is 4 times more than what we get with our current HD standard – 1080p. Sharp is ready to launch the AQUOS Quattron LC-70X5 in Japan. This 70-inch 3D TV features a Full HD resolution, a 15,000,000:1 contrast ratio, THX 3D, a USB port, an HDMI, Ethernet, WiFi and DLNA. The Sharp LC-70X5 also adopts the Mega Bright technology and supports Japanese VoD services. The Sharp AQUOS Quattron LC-70X5 will be launched later this month for 800,000 Yen or around $10,415. Sharp Introduces 70-Inch Electronic, Touch-Sensitive Whiteboard

Sharp Japan today introduced the i3board PN-L702B for the Japanese market. This electronic whiteboard is actually a 70-inch touchscreen LCD display that comes equipped with a Stylus pen and special software, enabling users to make notes or draw on the screen, scroll or change the size of objects by using gestures. Designed for use at offices and schools, the whiteboard can be used to display any type of content (including video) transferred to it from a Windows XP/Vista/7 PC (via USB) or directly from the web via the LAN port. The i3board PN-L702B display also supports a full HD resolution, a LED backlight, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, a 300cd/m2 brightness, and an HDMI port. The Sharp i3board PN-L702B will be launched on September 20, 2011 for $9,700. A smaller (60-inch) model will retail for $7,100. [TechCrunch]

Sharp RW-T107 Android Slate With NFC And RFID Capabilities

The new Sharp RW-T107 is a business-oriented tablet that comes equipped with a built-in NFC and RFID readers. Weighing at just 395 grams, the tablet has a 7-inch (1024×600) display, a fast 1GHz TI OMAP4430 processor, a microUSB slot, an HDMI port, a SIM card slot, and a headphone jack. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the gadget also features an 8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 5,400mAh battery, GPS, a gyro sensor, a 3MP rear-facing camera, and a 2MP front-facing camera.
