
Sharp today announced the latest E-Series LCD for the US market with size going up to 65 inch and devised within the E77U series and E67U Series. These LCDs offer HD quality and features Sharp’s ASV screen technology. The price ranges from $899.99 to $4,499.99. [Akihabara]

Sharp will release the new Sharp SH810C camera phone for the Chinese market. It is an 8MP camera phone that comes equipped with a huge 3 inch LCD AVS with an 854×480 resolution. No word on pricing at this time. [Akihabara via Upcoming Cell Phones]

Sharp comes back with a brand new DLP projector in the form of the PG-F255W. The projector offers WXGA resolution (1,280 x 800), BrilliantColor technology, 2,500 ANSI lumens, 2,200:1 contrast ratio, DVI/VGA inputs, Integrated speakers, RS-232C/USB ports, Ethernet connectivity and Variable audio line-out. Sharp comes out with the latest Aquos Photo Player range, with the HN-PP100 and HN-PP150. Both devices are actually a combination of a photo printer (300 x 300 dpi) and a memory card reader. You can easily display your favorite photos on a TV (several slideshow options are available), print them, and access them if you have an NAS (only possible with the HN-PP150 and its DLNA function). Sharp has decided to launch its 108 inch LCD display for the middle-east at Gitex 2008 in Dubai. This huge LCD screen has been unveiled at at CES. As a reminder, this 1080p (1920×1080) display has a fan-less design that reduces the intake of dust from the outside and is perfect for middle east dusty weather. This display is also made in an uber-green facility in Kameyama, Japan. The Sharp 108-inch LCD Display is priced at $150,000. [Al Bawaba]

Sharp today rolled out AQUOS DX series, which is known as the first LCD TVs with built-in Blu Ray Disc Recorders in the world. The series consists of 16 new models from 26-Inch to 52-Inch screen sizes. All models are compatible with BD-RE V2.1 (Single / Dual layer), BD-R 1.1 (Single / Dual Layer) recordable disc, and most of available playable disc. These HDTVs also feature Digital W Tuner, that allows you to watch TV while you are recording your favorite programs. Its Kameyama LCD Panel provides smooth picture quality. Sharp has showed off the new LED-backlit 52-inch LCD TV at CEATEC 2008. The LCD TV comes with solar floor panel which presumably provides at least some of the energy required to power the screen. I think Sharp will make more eco-friendly gadgets in the near future. Good job! [AVING]

Here is good news for you. The pricing details for Sharp’s sexiest HDTVs has been unveiled. The 65-inch LC-65XS1U-S is priced at a whopping $12,225. Meanwhile, the 52-inch LC-52XS1U-S retails for $9,243. These HDTVs are actually the thinnest LCD (liquid crystal display) TV sets yet produced by the company. The XS-series TVs measure 23 millimeters deep with a new LED (light-emitting diode) backlight and offer a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. [PCWorld]

Lets take a look at the Sharp Aquos BD-HDV22. Do you see something different? That’s right! There is a Blu-ray player that is placed side-by-side with a VHS tape player recorder, just in case you still have your grandma VHS movies collection. How lucky to be Americans because Sharp has decided to launch the D65U series of LCD HDTV statesides in October 2008. The LCD TV offers a native resolution of 1080p, Energy Star-compliant, active backlight and contrast controls and 176-degrees viewing angle. There are also a total of five HDMI ports, two composite inputs, one S-video, and PC-in. The monitor also adopts Sharp’s Advanced Super View and Black TFT Panel technologies. The Sharp Aquos D65U LCD TVs are priced at between $1600 to $2400, depending on the screen’s size. [Newlaunches]
