TMN, a Portuguese carrier, today introduced the world’s first recycled paper SIM card. These green SIM cards will be released with Samsung’s solar-charging Blue Earth handset. Unfortunately, you can’t get the paper SIM with TMN’s other devices just yet, but in the meantime, you can pick up the Blue Earth package for €239 ($318). [TMN]
Ok, we don’t know what these will do to your precious iPhone, but because we’re into keeping all of your options open here are some iPhone unlocking SIM cards available for purchase. Who knows if they’ll even work, but if you’re interested in getting an iPhone to work with a carrier other than AT&T then you might wanna try these out. They’re available for between $45 and $70 and they even have an already unlocked version for sale. Caveat Emptor!
