
Samsung today unveiled a new range of cell phones called the Samsung Shark. These handset are designed to bring a range of functions to users including social media and multimedia functions. There are three models in the Samsung Shark range including the Samsung Shark S5350, the Samsung Shark S5550 and the Samsung Shark S3550.
The Samsung Shark S5350 is an 11.9-inch thick candybar cell phone with a QVGA display, HSDPA, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot, and a built-in 100MB of storage space. The phone also supports a wide range of instant messenger functions such as GTalk and AIM. Meanwhile, the Samsung Shark S5550 is a slider phone with an AMOLED display screen, a 5MP Autofocus camera module, a 110MB of internal memory, a microSD (up to 8GB), Bluetooth, and USB port. And finally, the Shark S3550 is a compact cell phone that supports GTalk, AIM and Parlingo chat clients. Nokia today introduced a new slider handset that is available in six fresh and vivid colors including pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple. Made for design-conscious consumers, the Nokia 6700 Slide features a 2.2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240, a 5-megapixel camera with a built-in dual LED flash, a 860 mAh battery, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 16GB. The T715 is the latest slider phone from Sony Ericsson that comes in two different versions namely the Sony Ericsson T715 (with quad-band GSM and 2100 HSPA), and Sony Ericsson T715a (with quad-band GSM and 850/1900/2100 HSPA). This mid-end handset is equipped with a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 256K colors, a 3.2MP camera with Photo light, a new UI feature, a music player, a Stereo FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, a 90MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. Samsung S5050 is the company’s latest slider phone that looks quite similar to the S5200 that was announced in Russia yesterday. Though they’re quite similar in both design and features, the S5050 is packed with an AMOLED QVGA screen, meanwhile, the S5200 offers a TFT QVGA screen. The t239 is a slider phone that features dual band GSM connectivity 850/1900 MHz, a 177 x 220 pixels TFT display, a VGA photo camera, a 10MB of internal memory, web2go, MMS, myFaves capable and Bluetooth connectivity.
