SmartDevices SmartV 5 MID Supports 1080p Video

SmartDevices is back with another one of its mobile internet device known as the SmartV 5. This new MID boasts a 5-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 600MHz processor, a 256MB DDR2 RAM, a 2GB flash memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), WiFi, Bluetooth and a choice of Android, Windows CE 6.0 or Ubuntu operating systems. It also sports a USB 2.0 interface and an HDMI output for putting 1080p video on your HD compatible TV. The SmartV 5 is now listed at JTShop with a pre-order price of $260. [Product Page]

This new MID boasts a 7-inch WVGA touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution, WiFi connectivity, two USB ports, a TV output, an integrated stereo speakers and Linux OS with preloaded IM clients, internet access and PMP features.
