Here’s the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone ‘HTC Snap’ from HTC, which was announced yesterday at the 2009 CTIA Wireless. This new smartphone boasts the new Inner Circle feature, which according to HTC, “makes it easy for users to prioritize messages from the most important people in their lives at the press of a button.” Other interesting features include full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch display, 2MP camera, 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, 256MB of ROM, 128MB of RAM, a microSDHC card slot, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, quadband GSM and dualband HSDPA/WCDMA. The HTC Snap will be available starting the second quarter of 2009, however in US the HTC Snap will be made available under the name HTC S522 (unlocked and with HSDPA 850/1900MHZ connectivity). More

Kogan Agora Phone With Android OS

Kogan Technologies today introduced the Kogan Agora mobile phone, which is the first Australian mobile phone with the Android operating system. Priced at AU$299, the handset features a full QWERTY keyboard, central navigation key, a 2.5-inch touchscreen display, microSD slot, and 3G connectivity. Meanwhile, the Kogan Agora Pro retails for AU$399 and comes equipped with a 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Both variants wil be available worldwide on January 29th, 2009. Asus P565 Smartphone Unveiled

I know most of you are waiting for the brand new Asus P565 smartphone. Good news is that this Windows Mobile 6.1-powered handset has been unveiled to the market. The phone is powered by 800MHz Marvell processor, a 2.8 inch VGA LCD display, Glide technology, 256MB flash memory, 128MB SDRAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity, 3MP camera with autofocus and microSD/SDHC memory card slot. The Asus P565 also supports HSDPA 3.6Mbps and UMTS 2100, EDGE/GPRS/GSM 900/1800/1900 connectivity. The Asus P565 Smartphone has the dimension of 102mm x 60.5mm x 16mm and weights at only 120 grams. Qisda Smartphone Unveiled

Qisda Corp of Taiwan has recently unveiled a new smartphone that sports IEEE802.16e mobile WiMAX, wireless LAN, and support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE networks. The handset will be powered by Microsoft Windows 6.1 operating system and support for WiMAX via SIP and VoIP networks in addition to voice calls through wireless LAN.
