It comes with Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), GPRS, EDGE connectivity, a TI OMAP 850 200 MHz processor, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, Windows Mobile Pro 6.1, 320 × 240 resolution TFT LCD touch screen display, 2 megapixel camera, built-in SiRF III GPS chipset, bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, USB 2.0 support, and a microSD memory card slot. Samsung will be releasing the G810 smartphone which is very similar to the Nokia G800. The only difference between these two is that the G810 unlike the G800, runs on Symbian with HSDPA data instead of Windows Mobile. Other than that, it has about the same features such as a 2.6-inch QVGA display, a 5-megapixel camera, GPS functions, WiFi, 150MB of memory (plus a microSD slot), and Bluetooth 2.0. It should be hitting the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona for a retail price of €580.

China should be expecting to see the Blackberry 8800 in stores near them fairly soon. So now they can reap all the benefits that us westerners take forgranted. They should consider themselves lucky however, they do have a similar phone marketed there called the Redberry, go figure.

This New Year Asus has decided to bring one of their smartphones with GPS to North America. The P527 smartphone will feature built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, and Google Earth GPS. But without 3G, will instead have Quadband EDGE. No word on pricing as of right now.
