Garmin-Asus today annouched that the nuvifone M20 smartphone is now available with Windows Mobile 6.5. This handset will be released later this year in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Turkey Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and Czech Republic. If you have the M20 with Windows Mobile 6.1, you can upgrade your handset to Windows Mobile 6.5 on Garmin-Asus’ website for free. Here is good news for those who are living in Erope, because Motorola has rolled out the Motorola Milestone for the European market. This Android 2.0-powered handset provides a trial version of MOTONAV turn-by-turn navigation, which is free for the first 60 days. The phone also features a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Orange will release the Motorola Dext (Cliq) in the UK on October 7th, 2009. The Motorola Dext will be available free on a two year contract with Orange for £35 ($55) per month. The package will include 900 call minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited Internet browsing and access to Orange Maps. Palm has finally announced its second WebOS smartphone, officially called Palm Pixi (previously known as Palm Eos or Palm Pixie). Measuring 4.37-inch x 2.17-inch x 0.43-inch and weighing at just 99.5 grams, the Palm Pixi is claimed as the slimmest Palm smartpone. The candy-bar handset comes equipped with a 2.63-inch (320×400) touchscreen display, a 2MP fixed-focus camera with LED flash, a full QWERTY keypad, and access to the Palm Beta App Catalog, which includes entertainment and social networking applications like Yelp and Local Concerts by iLike. The back cover of Palm Pixi is rubberized, which makes the phone scratch-resistant and durable. The Palm Pixi comes with Palm Synergy, which links your information from Google, Exchange ActiveSync, Facebook, Yahoo! and LinkedIn. It seems that HTC will release a new smartphone in the near future, which is knows as the HTC Touch HD2. It is actually a successor to the famous HTC Touch HD.
