Sprint has finally released the new HTC Touch Pro smartphone. The customers can purchase this handset via online early next week. Or they can also buy it on the Sprint stores on November 2nd, 2008 for $299.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Samsung has finally launched the Samsung Epix in the US via AT&T. Available in a sleek silver finish, the phone provides Wi-Fi connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, an integrated aGPS, AT&T Video Share support, Global roaming, a 2MP camera with video recording capability, Full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.5 inch TFT color display. What makes this smartphone different is that it adopts Microsoft Direct Push technology that allows the Epix to support multiple email accounts. HP comes back with two smartphones from their iPAQ range in the form of the iPAQ DataMessenger and VoiceMessenger. The first handset has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2.8 inch display, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, Wi-Fi and HSDPA support, quad-band GSM, aGPS, a 3.1MP camera and a microSD memory card slot. Meanwhile, the iPAQ VoiceMessenger comes with a smaller 2.4 inch display and a SureType keyboard. You can purchase the VoiceMessenger and DataMessenger for €399 and €499, respectively. The HTC Touch HD is claimed to be the best smartphone in the market today and one of the iPhone 3G killer. HTC has announced the official release date of November 6th, 2008. As a reminder, the HTC Touch HD measures 11.5cm x 6.3cm x 1.2cm and weights at 146 grams. Samsung has rolled out a new high-end smartphone in Korea this week. The Samsung Ultra Messaging II SPH-M4800 smartphone comes equipped with a 2.55-inch LCD screen with a fast 624MHz high-speed CPU, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, GSM global roaming, 2MP shooter and an external memory slot. The smartphone also offers three type of input methods including text-friendly QWERTY keypad, the finger mouse offering PC-like web experience and the touchscreen display. Here is good news for those who wait for a new high end smartphone. Nokia has decided to release the Nokia’s N96 high end smartphone in North America in Q4 2008. Priced at around $900, this iPhone 3G competitor offers a 2.8 inch LCD display, 16GB internal memory, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, N-Gage support and 3G connectivity.
