i-Mate updates its Ultimates line by releasing the 9502, 8502, 8150 and the 6150 to the North American market. The 9502 is quad-band GSM mobile phone that support 3G Windows Mobile 6, 3MP auto-focus camera with LED flash, front facing VGA camera for video calls, GPS, 2.86-inch backlit LCD, microSD support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 400MHz Quallcomm MSM 7200 processor, and a QWERTY keyboard underneath. Meanwhile, the 8502 features only a 2MP cam, GPS, 2.6-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. What make this smartphone cool is that it offers XGA output for projectors and TVs. The i-Mate 8510 provides XGA out, quad-band GSM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2MP shooter with flash, VGA front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 2.6-inch touchscreen. However, this mobile phone does not have a QWERTY keyboard. The 6150 comes with XGA out, quad-band GSM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2MP digicam with autofocus, VGA front-facing camera, and a 2.8-inch touchscreen. These smartphones will be released in November.
Sprint will release Palm Centro smartphone that comes loaded with voice, text, IM, email, web, contact and calendar capabilities, a full-color touch screen display and a QWERTY keyboard. Using this gadget, you can check stock quotes, watch videos on YouTube, keep current on the latest news, capture and share pictures, browse restaurant reviews on Yelp, and get directions on Google Maps. Available in onyx black or ruby red, the Palm Centro will be available on Sprint in the United States for 90 days for only $99.99 with a two-year service agreement. The phone will be released in mid-October.
