Sony Ericsson will release the Sony Ericsson K770i under a different name, the K550im. This GSM Tri-band phone will be featured a 2MP camera with auto focus, M2 memory card slot, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, IrDA, FM radio, and a music player. Its 64MB of internal memory can be expanded with the M2 memory slot. Measuring just 102mm x 46mm x 14mm, the phone also provides 176×220 pixel TFT display with 256k colors. There is a rumor which said that its walkman version will support the 3G network and have a camera, but no auto focus. Stay tuned for all the latest updates!

“Hi-Mobile” via YouTube provides us with a preview of the Sony Ericsson M600i phone. Measuring just 15mm thick, the handset is aimed at business users. It boasts a full QWERTY keypad, large 2.6-inch QVGA display, BlackBerry-style jog dial, 80MB built-in memory, an extra 64MB Memory Stick Micro (M2), and all the business applications including BlackBerry Connect, and Ericsson Mobile Office. The almighty FCC has approved the W800i, which is the next walkman phone from Sony Ericsson. The phone is expected to be announced in early February.

SanDisk just introduced the Memory Stick Micro (M2) which is compatible with Sony Ericsson phones and Sony Cyber-Shot cameras. It can store approx. 500 MP3 songs, 640 minutes of MPEG4 video, or up to 4800 photos. Compatible mobile phones include Sony Ericsson K610, K800, K790, M600/608, V630, W300, W710, W712, Z530, Z550, Z710, and Z712. If used with a Pro Duo adapter, the M2 is compatible with Sony Ericsson D750, K750, P910, P990, V800, W700, W800/810, W850, W900, and Z800.
The 2GB version is on sale right now for $119.9, while the 1GB and 512 MB for $54.99 and $44.99 respectively.
