Sony has announced that Japan will be getting a new PS3 in a metallic satin silver color along with a DualShock 3 in the same color. The satin silver PS3 will hit Japan this March.

Your character shoots, slashes with a huge sword, and uses his demonic claw to grab ghouls and the like all throughout a beautiful mythical setting.

Sony to Scrap 80GB Playstation 3?

Sony PS3 80GB to be Discontinued
Rumor has it that Best Buy is going to cease carrying the 80GB version of the Sony Playstation 3, which is the only current version to have backwards compatibility. If this is true, it’s uncertain how Sony will handle the compatibility issue. The 40GB Playstation 3 is the least expensive at $400, and the White Playstation 3 is slated for US release, but who knows what will happen with the 80GB Version. Check the note after the break.

White Playstation 3 Coming to the States

White Sony PS3

The FCC website has recently revealed that the highly anticipated White Sony Playstation 3 will be coming to the States in the near future. It’ll feature a white sixaxis controller and a 40GB hard drive and will likely be priced at $400. The white glossy shell might just increase sales of the platform to the point where Sony would like it to be, aesthetically speaking it beats the hell out of the Xbox 360 and Wii.
