Sony Introduces New Version Of Sony PSP

Sony unveiled a slimmed down Sony PSP at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California. The toy is 33 percent lighter, 19 percent slimmer, and offers better battery life, faster game load times, and video output to TVs. The slim Sony PSP will be available in two choice of colors; “ice silver” and a Star Wars-themed white PSP emblazoned with Darth Vader’s visage. Both versions of the PSP will cost $200 (as you can see the price didn’t get slimmer, but they threw in some goodies) with the silver version including Daxter, a Family Guy UMD video collection, and a 1GB Memory Stick Duo. iPSP v1.10 For Apple iPhone

ChrisTek and Epixx have released iPSP, which is an Apple iPhone interface for the Sony PSP. The program replaces the default “media crossbar” with a simplified iPhone menu and adds several of the usual applications including calendar, instant messaging, web browser, and mail… and you don’t have to pay someone to unlock these features. You can download the software for free, so you can save some money (but you still won’t be able to save yourself from the iPhone hype). Check out the video of the iPSP in action after the break.
