Latest Speaker System For Your iPod and iPhone

If you bored with your old iPod and iPhone speaker system, then check out the new speaker system from Boston Acoustics. The Horizon i-DS3 offers 100 watts of stereo sound and recharges your iPod or iPhone battery when connected. It has a 2.4GHz wireless subwoofer that features a downward firing enclosure design with a frequency response of 35Hz-150Hz. Each purchase of the Horizon i-DS3 comes with a mini remote control. EOps i24R3 Wireless Multi-Room Speaker System

Michael Young and EOps have joined together to create the wireless multi-room speaker system. Dubbed as the EOps i24R3, this wireless gesture controlled multi-room speaker system is compatible with iPod, iPhone 3G, iMac, and PC. The speaker comes in a high gloss white aluminum design and features a Universal Dock for iPods and iPhones, a 4 inch subwoofer rated at 40W paired with wireless 3 inch satellite speakers, rated at 20W a piece. This wireless speaker also features motion sensors that allows you to control the EOps i24R3’s volume settings with the hand gestures. The EOps i24R3 Wireless Gesture Controlled Multi Room Speaker System will be available sometime in 2009. No word on pricing so far. I am sure it will be expensive. JVC Sound Garden Kirikabu Concept Speaker

JVC has a new eco-friendly speaker concept which is called the Sound Garden KiriKabu. The speaker concept is now on display in Tokyo at the Designer’s Week exhibition. Pioneer S-8EX and S-4EX Speaker Series

Pioneer will release the S-8EX and S-4EX Speaker series at the end of October 2008. The S-8EX is a 3-way center speaker that provides 2 x woofers 16cm, 14cm cone coaxial unit, and 3cm tweeter. Priced at €1500, the speaker produces a frequency range of 34Hz-100kHz, a sensitivity of 88.5dB (2.83V/1m), a frequency of 400 Hz, 2kHz, and an impedance of 6 ohm. Meanwhile, the Pioneer S-4EX retails for €2000. The speaker system provides a 16cm woofer, 14cm Middle and 3cm tweeter and has a frequency range of 34Hz-100kHz, a sensitivity of 85.5dB (2.83V/1m), a frequency of 400 Hz, and an impedance of 6 ohm.
