Samsung will introduce the DA-E750 and DA-E670 audio docks at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. The Samsung DA-E750 is known as the company’s first speaker dock that incorporates Samsung’s patented 100W hybrid vacuum tube amp, powering a 2.1 speaker system and a subwoofer. The Samsung DA-E670 audio dock provides a smaller 40W amp that powers a 2.1 speaker system. Magico has unveiled the S5 loudspeaker, which is the successor to the V3 loudspeaker that was released about five years ago. Designed by a musician called Alan Wolf, this floor standing speaker comes equipped with a 1-inch MB30 beryllium-dome tweeter, a 6-inch M380 midrange driver, and two 10-inch “hybrid” Nano-Tec woofers. The Magico S5 provides a sensitivity of 90dB (2.83V/1m), an impedance of 4 ohms, and a frequency response that extends from 22Hz to 50kHz.
