Korean gadget manufacturer Idamtec today introduced the BOOM 2 portable boombox. The gadget features an FM radio, an alarm clock and an MP3 player. The Idamtec BOOM 2 also provides a 3.5mm standard audio plug, allowing you to connect the boombox with your laptop, MP3 player and smartphone. Logitech has announced the availability of the Mini Boombox portable Bluetooth speaker. This ultra-portable wireless speaker is compatible with popular smartphones, tablets and other devices that support Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). The Logitech Mini Boombox also works with smartphones that support Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile (HFP 1.5). Its internal rechargeable battery provides enough juice for up to 10-hour of operation time.
