Super Talent launches UltraDrive DX Co-Branded Toshiba SSDs

Super Talent has launched a new series of co-branded Toshiba SSDs, the UltraDrive DX. Coming in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities, these 2.5-inch drives provide a reading speed up to 230MB/s and a writing speed up to 180MB/s. They also feature MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory chips, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface and a MTBF of over 1 million hours. AMP Announces Aviator 312 USB 3.0 External SSDs

Active Media Products has announced a new series of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external SSDs, the Aviator 312. Available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models, these pocket-sized SSDs are based on MLC NAND flash memory and provide read and write speeds of 240MB/s and 160MB/s, respectively. These drives are also backwards-compatible and will work in any USB 2.0 or 1.1 port. Super Talent will launch a new RAIDDrive SSD series in October 2009. Measuring 258mm x 112mm x 25 mm, the RAIDDrive uses PCIe Gen. 2.0 x8 interface allowing the drive to provide sequential read speeds of up to 1.4GB/sec and sequential write speeds of up to 1.2GB/sec. Available in three models, the ES model is aimed at enterprise users, while the WS version is aimed at workstation users, and the GS version is aimed at gamers. Patriot Memory Unveils Koi SSDs For Mac Users

Patriot Memory has unveiled a new series of 2.5-inch Solid State Drives (SSD) for Mac users. Named Koi, these drives come in 128GB and 256GB sizes and feature a 64MB of cache memory, a SATA 3.0 Gbps connection interface, a MTBF of over 2.5 million hours, 260MB/s read speeds and 180MB/s write speeds.
