Kingston has unveiled the Kingston HyperX Max 3.0 portable solid state drive, which is actually a Kingston SSDNow V+ solid-state drive repackaged in an aluminum enclosure with a USB 3.0 connectivity. The storage device provides a fast 195MB/s read speed and 160MB/s write speed. LaCie FastKey USB 3.0 SSD Drive

LaCie today introduced the FastKey, which is the company’s smallest SSD USB 3.0 drive. The device combines three technologies such as SSD, USB 3.0 and DRAM cache to deliver speeds up to 260MB/s, so you can transfer 1000 MP3 or 5 DIVX files in less than 60 seconds. Hitachi comes back with its new Ultrastar SSD400S solid state drive (SSD) family. Available in 100GB, 200GB or 400GB of storage capacity, the drive features both 2.5-inch 6Gb/s Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and 3.5-inch 4Gb/s Fibre Channel (FC) interfaces. The Ultrastar SSD400S family combines Hitachi’s proven enterprise hard disk drive (HDD) expertise with Intel’s extensive capabilities in developing high-endurance 34nm, single-level cell (SLC) NAND flash memory and advanced SSD technology. The new Ultrastar SSD400S family provides up to 535MB/s read and 500MB/s write throughput with 6Gb/s SAS, and 390MB/s read and 340MB/s write throughput with 4Gb/s FC. Zalman S-Series And N-Series 2.5-inch SSDs

Zalman has entered the solid state drive (SSD) business by releasing two lines of SATA SSDs in the 2.5-inch form factor. The value-oriented S-series and the performance-oriented N-series are currently available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of storage capacities. The Zalman S-series SSDs use a JMicron controller with up to 260MB/s of read speeds and up to 60MB/s write speeds for the 32GB model, 120MB/s write speeds for the 64GB model, and 210MB/s write speeds for the 128GB model. The Zalman S-series 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB SSDs are priced at $99, $149, and $249, respectively. The Zalman N-series SSDs adopt the SandForce SF-12xx controller that provides up to 280MB/s read speeds and 270MB/s write speeds. Foremay has proudly introduced the world’s fastest 1.8-inch SSD with read/write speeds of 280MB/s, random read/write IOPS at 4KB up to 30,000/15,000, and jumbo capacity up to 400GB. Measuring at just 5mm thick, the slim storage device is capable of being deployed not only in high-end laptops, but also in industrial PC, HPC and enterprise servers.
