
Super Talent has released a new firmware upgrade ‘Firmware Version 1370′ for their UltraDrive SSDs, which enables improved performance when used with Microsoft Windows 7. This new firmware increases the maximum read and write of both the UltraDrive ME and UltraDrive LE to 260 MB/sec while reading and 200 MB/sec (ME) and 210 MB/sec (LE) when writing. In addition, Super Talent has also released the UltraDrive Performance Refresh Tool, an app which can refresh SSD performance. Super Talent introduces its new UltraDrive ME/UltraDrive LE Series SSDs that come in 64GB, 32GB, 138GB and 256GB storage capacities retailing for $205, $128, $379 and $645, respectively. These drives are able to hit a maximum sequential read speed of 230MB/sec and a maximum sequential write speed of 170MB/sec for the LE series, while the ME series has a maximum sequential read speed of 200MB/sec and a maximum sequential write speed of 160MB/sec. Measures only 1.4-inches, the Pico D claims as one of the world’s smallest USB families, by using chip-on-board (COB) technology. Check out the thinnest 256GB SSD hard drive by Super Talent dubbed the FSD56GC25H SSD world’s thinnest Solid State Disk.
