Scotland has just unveiled its first supercar “Falen”. It features constructed of carbon fiber and with a hinged greenhouse like a jet fighter. Currently a digital prototype, it will sport a 800 horsepower, 5.5-litre V10 Judd engine. The prototype is expected to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 2009, and only four will be built. Audi has recently showed off their new version of Audi’s R8 V12 TDI concept at the Geneva Motor Show. The new R8 is powered by 6.0 liter V12 diesel motor that produces 500 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The company claims this concept car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds. Other features include a glass roof, all-LED headlights, an increased use of carbon fiber, revised front and rear aprons, and larger air intakes all around.
