
Notion Ink’s new Tablet PC that goes by the name of Adam has been highly anticipated for a long time now by tech fans but unfortunately its release has been pushed back until November. When it does hit the market it will feature 10.1-inch slate that will use Pixel Qi’s 3qi display technology to make it great for both indoor and outdoor use. AMtek will exhibit their latest iTablet Tablet PC series at the upcoming Computex in Taiwan. The iTablet series consists of three models such as the Speed-Lite (AE03), Ex-Lite II (AE04) and Lite (TZ10). The Speed-Lite (AE03) is powered by a 2,1GHz nVidia Tegra CPU with a 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, while the Ex-Lite II (AE04) uses a Freescale 800MHz CPU and a 512MB DDR2 SDRAM. The AMtek Lite (TZ10) boasts a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Menlow-XL Z530 CPU with a SO-DDR II 400/533MHz 2G (Maximum 4G). The SpeedLite and Ex-Lite II models are powered by either Microsoft Windows CE 6.0R3/7.0, Android 2.1, or Linux. The Lite (TZ10) runs on Microsoft Windows 7. Here is good news for those who are looking for a touchscreen convertible netbook. Amazon is now selling the Gigabyte T1028X TouchNote with Microsoft Windows 7 for $668. The 10-inch netbook also features a 250GB SATA hard drive, an Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1GB DDR2 RAM, and a 6-cell battery. There is also a 3G version that retails for $788. Tired of waiting for Apple to make its Apple Tablet official? A company called Camangi has already gone ahead and announced a 7-inch touchscreen tablet computer namely the WebStation. Powered by Android 1.5, the tablet features Wi-Fi, GPS, a microSD reader, Gmail, and web browsing. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 5-hours of operation time in a single charge. The ICD Vega is the company’s new Google Android 2.0-powered touchscreen tablet that is powered by an nVidia Tegra processor. The gadget features a 15.6-inch touchscreen display with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, a 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth 2.1. Other important specs including a built-in accelerometer, dual digital microphones, an ambient light sensor and a magnetic dock for charging and syncing the device. TG Sambo today rolled out their brand new dual-touchscreen tablet PC in the form of the Averatec PT 1400. Powered by Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, the tablet PC is currently available in a 14-inch and 7-inch touchscreen display with LED backlit.
