The Funtab 9.1 Fantasy features a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, a 9.1-inch LED-backlit multitouch display, a 1GB DDR3 memory, the Google Android 2.31 Gingerbread OS, a 16GB of storage space and a microSC card slot (up to 32GB). SKYTEX Technology has rolled out the SKYPAD Alpha 2 7-inch tablet. Motorola today introduced the new Xoom Family Edition Android-powered tablet. The gadget is equipped with a dual-core 1GHz nVidia Tegra 2 processor, a 10.1-inch (1280×800) IPS touchscreen display, a 1GB of RAM, a 16GB of internal storage space, a 5MP AutoFocus rear-facing camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, and the Google Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS. Motorola is now testing prototypes of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet. Panasonic today announced the availability of the Toughbook H2 Windows 7 tablet. Weighing at only 3.5 pounds, this fully-rugged tablet is powered by an Intel Core i5-2557M vPro processor (1.7GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz) for faster speeds and enhanced device management. The device also comes standard with a 10-inch XGA display, a 4GB RAM (up to 8GB), a removable 320GB 7200rpm shock-mounted hard disk drive, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and an optional 128GB solid state drive.
