California-based company TabletKiosk has recently showed off their newest tablet PC ‘Sahara Slate PC i500′ for the mass market. Designed for professional use in the field or at the office, this powerful device is equipped with a 12.1-inch LED-backlit (resistive or capacitive) touchscreen display, a 1.06GHz Celeron U3400 or 2.13GHz Core i7-640LM processor, up to 8GB RAM, one HDD or SSD, rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries and can run on either Windows 7, Windows Embedded 7, openSUSE Linux 11 or Ubuntu Linux.
