Brooklyn design firm Nonlinear Studio has designed the Slip Watch, which features a very simple but also extremely stylish design. The face crosses the wrist band at 20 degrees, making it more ergonomic to read. The edge of the band penetrates the casing at hours 12 and 9, making the minimal face easier to read. A continuous 1-inch nylon strap slides through the back of the watch eliminating the need for removable pins that can fail or become lost. Toobad, the Slip Watch is only a concept so far. Moshi has released a new alarm clock that responds to voice commands. Known as the Voice Control Digital Clock Radio, this gadget allows you to snooze or turn off the alarm by using your own voice. The clock has two alarms, a digital AM/FM tuner with three AM and three FM presets, and a snooze control. You can also connect this unique alarm clock to your iPod via a line-in cable.
