Nike has rolled out the Triax Vapor 300 performance running watch. The new wristwatch features an aircraft aluminum casing, a curved mineral glass, a performance polymer strap and an extra large plastic LCD display made by SoftPixel. It is also water resistance of up to 100-meter underwater. Weighing at less that 40 grams, the Nike Triax Vapor 300 is currently available at the Nike store for $129 each. [Geeky Gadgets]
Tokyoflash comes back with their latest timepiece namely the Wavelength. It is a unique timepiece that comes with an always on LCD display and user selectable LED backlighting. The hour is shown in digits in negative space in the center of the display, while minutes are shown by the ring of blocks surrounding the digits. The first rotation of minutes in positive blocks to 30 minutes, then the second rotation in negative blocks to 60. MB&F has rolled out their latest timepiece in the form of the HM4 Thunderbolt. This Aviation-inspired watch comes with a metal casing that is made from milled solid blocks of high-tech grade 5 titanium with hundreds of hours of machining and polishing in the construction process. The watch’s engine was entirely designed and developed by MB&F over three years of intensive work with Laurent Besse and Beranger Reynard of Les Artisans Horlogers. Each of the 311 components were developed specifically for the Thunderbolt, no off-the-shelf mechanisms or parts were used at all due to the extreme nature of its architecture. The MB&F HM4 Thunderbolt is not a limited edition watch, but will be produced in limited amount of about 25-35 pieces a year. There will be just 20 HM4 watches for 2010. Designed by Hanhsi Chen and Chiyu Chen, the Shadow Clock concept is some kind of modern sundial. The clock features a conventional halogen bulb and a quartz clock movement mechanism. It is capable of using the shadow created by its built-in halogen lamp to project a giant clock on your wall. Tokyoflash is back with their latest timepiece namely the Zonal. The watch has the interface, which is located beneath a single block of clear acrylic. The block is then connected to a strong tapered wristband. The large control buttons on the side are also visible through the acrylic block.
