The Ventura SPARC MGS uses a micro-generator to power a digital display. Wrist movements feed an accumulator providing power to the high-performance microprocessor. According to the company, throughout an average day the wearer’s movements will turn an oscillating mass about 4,000 times. Using a set of connecting gears, these rotations are used to repeatedly tension a spring. Every time the spring is fully tensioned, it releases its force to a built-in micro-generator which generates electricity for the watch. The Ventura Sparc GS is priced at between $3,000 to $4,000 each. [Ventura]

This X-Watch concept by Damian Kozlik is specifically designed for all you mutants out there. Well, not really. This is actually a cool attempt to help the blind keep track of time. The rubber strap carries an array of LEDs with extruded braille numbers that cross in the middle to highlight the correct time. Either way it still makes a kick ass watch, mutant or not.
